Epiphany [Saprast, Cik Veltīgi Ir]

I have learned today:

That to try is always to fail,
that to regret is drown in pain,
that a smile is a disguised tear,
that to believe leads us to forget,
that loving is hating very closely,
that hiding is to be noticed,
that creating is destroying something else,
that being unnoticed is safe,
that peace is brought by loneliness,
that rain is brighter than the sun,
that hope is worst that suffering,
that expecting something is to make it go away,
that, for me, there is no better way than the hard way.

I learned this today, while you were not here,
and I am thankful for that,
for my anger has subsided and peace surounds me,
I thank the pain you all put me through, as it has illuminated me just now...
